Subsequent chapters explore the performance characteristics of these instruments, distinguishing between static and dynamic properties, and address various measurement errors (gross, systematic, and random), including statistical analysis techniques. The text then discusses specialised equipment such as signal generators, wave analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes (CRO), including special purpose models and the use of Lissajous figures for frequency and phase measurements. Finally, the sources cover various electrical bridges (DC and AC) for measuring unknown resistance, inductance, and capacitance, and introduce transducers (active and passive) and the components of data acquisition systems.
