5. Conclusion: The Communication Journey

In essence, communication is a journey. It begins with an idea, which is encoded into a signal. To travel a long distance, this signal is piggybacked onto a powerful carrier wave through modulation. As it travels through a channel, it is inevitably joined by unwanted noise. Finally, the receiver’s challenge is to capture this signal, filter out the noise, and decode the message, completing the journey and allowing information to be shared.
